Netbook replaces my Laptop
|

I bought this netbook to take a trip where there may only be dial-up. From other reviews I thought the netbook might be to slow with dial-up. Well, actually it is faster than my dual-core laptop. I just added a USB Zoom modem.
Pros:
Fast
Long Battery Life
Bluetooth
Light Weight
Keyboard is easy to type on
Sound is good
Played a DVD movie with no skips
This model includes a CD/DVD and nice wireless mouse. The key to the mouse is very small and stays plugged in.
Does not come with much bloatwear. The bloatware that was on it could easily be uninstalled and some may find it handy. Such as a trial of McAfee and Microsoft Office.
Cons:
Minor, glidepoint default is set to do all kinds of tricks. I use the glidepoint so I just went in to the software and turned off all the extras and it works fine.
This laptop comes with XP and is not eligible for Windows 7. That's okay with me since it is working fine with XP.
Recommended:
I love this netbook and now use it all the time. My laptop and desktop are getting lonely since I haven't found anything that this netbook can't do.

Neat Package

| This is a great product bundle for the price. The screen is very bright and clear. Network signal strength is better than my full size laptop. Perfect for travelling. This bundle came with Win XP/w/Service Pack 3. I would have liked Windows 7 but this is fine for what I plan to use if for. Considering the price with the DVD/R/W, wireless mouse and case, it is a good deal. The case is just OK for the computer to stick in a briefcase or carry on luggage. I bought a better case that could hold mouse and power. |
