Eee Pad EP01ct and EP121, rivals of iPad numbered Asus

After rumors of February last, Asus has now officially introduced the Eee pad, the tablet is intended to compete with iPad, available in two models: the EP101TC el’EP121 respectively 10 inches and even 12 inches. Both feature the new and both have multitouch screen color.
At least on paper, 10 inch tablet does not seem to have anything to envyall’iPad in design: only 12.2 mm thick and 675 grams, compared to 13.4 mm and 680 grams of the rival from Apple. The operating system designed for this device is the Windows Embedded Compact 7.
The 12-inch model is the most interesting: with an Intel Core 2 Duo CULV, promises 10 hours of autonomy and Home Premium operating system Windows 7 may be used as an Internet device, multimedia device, e-reader or as a real PC compact, thanks to the docking station available, adding a small keyboard, turn it into an all-in-one or in a notebook for all purposes.
After you hand held the iPad in recent days,I would say that the tablet might actually be maybe “superfluous” as a portable device, but is also fun and tasty, definitely a must for lovers of technology. So if Asus is indeed successful in producing a more efficient rival device or with the same features and lower price (though not yet official), the battle is interesting, even for the “Tablet-skeptics like me.
