At a press event in Amsterdam, Packard Bell has introduced its first tablet PC, Butterfly Touch. This is an ultraportable with 11.6-inch touch screen (1366 × 768 px), operating system, Windows 7 Home Premium and declared autonomy for 8 hours, which seems to come on the market by October 22 at a price close to 599 euros.

At the moment we have no information about its technical details, but given the similarity with the Timeline 1820P and the Gateway EC18T we can almost assume that will be managed by a processor family from Intel and CULV that the screen will be able to manage multi-touch.

From only pictures available right now (via portablegear.nl) we note the allocation of ports including HDMI and VGA outputs, 3 USB, Ethernet, audio jacks and a multiformat card reader.
In the first image you see a strange door, more like a switch that to a connector. It is likely, but I could be wrong, be it a button to adjust the rotation of the screen when you work in tablet mode.

Given the imminent release (October 22) I do not think it will take long before more details on this Butterfly Touch.
