Remember the Netbook of Valentino Rossi anticipated long ago? Well, it will be called Packard Bell dot VR46 and is close to the arrival in Italy.

Designed by Aldo Druids Packard Bell dot the VR46 is characterized by support for HD video playback, hard disk from 640 GB and has a battery that can last 8 hours.

First of a series, dot VR46 is a 11.6-inch netbook (resolution 1366 × 768) with reduced thickness and weight of 1.35kg, equipped with the now classic touchpad multi-gesture of Packard Bell.

In terms of connections the VR46 integrates 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 over the HDMI port and card reader 5 in 1.

Packard Bell dot VR46 will be available from March for 499 €.
