OLPC XO-1.5 HS: physical keyboard head in a video

By admin

The OLPC XO-1.5 HS is a very low cost netbook designed for high school, hence the initials “HS” stands for “High School”. The news that concerns him is the replacement of keyboard / keypad membrane with a physical common change made after the Uruguayan government’s decision to develop their own netbooks for high school students.

Christoph Derndorger of OLPC News has created a kind of hands-on video of the XO-1.5 HS while he was at Asucion, ensuring comfort and goodness of the product. With the new netbook on the keyboard is faster and easier typing.

The buttons are easy to change, making maintenance of the netbook for everyone. At the opening you can see the test done.
